Meet The Board

The Lake of the Ozarks Stop Human Trafficking Coalition is a volunteer organization working collaboratively to increase awareness, identify causes, and support victims of trafficking.

Crystal Lloyd, RN

Crystal.webp

President

I have been a Camden County resident my entire life- born and raised in Camdenton. I am a 2006 Camdenton High School graduate and a 2010 Columbia College nursing program graduate. I am currently employed by Lake Regional Health System and have been since 2006. I wear many hats and currently serve in the following roles with the organization: Stroke Program Coordinator and Forensic (FACT) Program Director. I am also a contract employee for Kid’s Harbor as a forensic nurse and a Medical Examiner for Southwest Missouri Forensics in Camden County.

I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 12 years and we have two daughters, Stella and Adelynn. In our spare time, we enjoy being outdoors and spending time with all of our animals.

Human Trafficking is very important to me because it affects way more people than anyone would like to admit- even here in our community. I want to work and live in a community that I feel is safe and that my children and family can thrive in. By being a part of the coalition, I feel that I am working toward achieving these goals daily with like-minded individuals.

Stephanie Dominique

Stephanie is a 1999 graduate of Camdenton High School. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology, from Central Missouri State University in 2003; and her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Columbia College in 2009. She has been employed by Lake Regional Health System as a Registered Nurse since 2010. Stephanie works as a full-time RN in the Emergency Department where she is also part of the FACT team; functioning as one of many Forensic Nurse Examiners, since 2014.

Stephanie and her husband, Van, have been married since 2003 and have 2 daughters; Baylee and Sadie. They spend their family time outdoors, riding side by side, camping, and playing with their two dogs.

Assisting victims of human trafficking is important to Stephanie as she has encountered many throughout her years as a nurse. Raising awareness that trafficking happens even in small, rural, areas is imperative to stopping human trafficking and breaking the vicious cycle of victimization people often find themselves trapped in.

My family and I have lived in Camden County since 2009. We are proud members of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

My wife and I have been married for 20 years (which officially makes her a saint). I am the proud father of two children.

I graduated from Mizzou's Law Enforcement Training Institute. I began my Law Enforcement career in Camden County in 2011 and have served the people here ever since. I have been a member of several specialized units that include:

  • Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC)

  • Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)

  • Major Case Squad

  • Camden County Street Crimes Task Force

  • Liaison between CCSO and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG)

  • Criminal Investigation Division (CID)

  • Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) (Entry Certified)

During my time as an investigator, I have worked and solved countless cases involving; homicides, suicides, sexual assaults, child abuse, sex crimes involving children, and drug investigations.

I have worked with our local and State Law Enforcement including Federal Agencies such as ATF, FBI, DEA, and DOR to solve cases. I have had the privilege of working with the unsung heroes in a lot of these cases like the men and women of Lake Regional Hospital, Kids Harbor, Citizens Against Domestic Violence, and Children’s Division.

During my tenure, I was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal and a Letter of Commendation.
